Paris

I'm always fascinate watching documentary shows especially history and bibliography like where it come from? how it begun? who initiates it? and there is a beauty in it, the evolution and innovation that had happen in the process of it. Many might say it is boring but it is actually fun. Because you learn a lot from it, the facts or fun fact that you can share to others like you're a sharing a secret like do you know that Guillotine was considered the most humane way to carry out execution by beheading before in France?

Other Documentry films I've watch were "The secret of Her's Majesty's Secret Service" "The Story of Diana" "Jeremy Scott The People's Designer" "The House of Z" which is the Story of Zac Posen, "Manolo The boy who made shoes for Lizards" and "John Galliano Story"

The recent documentary I've watched is Metropolis featuring Paris. I've watch the renovation and how it was rebuild from the Ground up by George-Eugene Haussmann that took him 20 years for his Vision to be realized. All the new buildings have limited height so it will not obstruct the sunlight, thus calling the city the City of Lights. The innovative engineering that Hausmman use for Cleaning the road is still being used as of today and that were the 12 thousand water outlets installed along the road that fed water from the Seine River that the "Men in Green" open and closed to clean the road. Another french visionary, that made Paris recognizable in the world is the Monsieur Gustave Eiffel who built the famous Eiffel Tower.

And Do you want to know the Second famous monument he built? Along with sculptor Frederic Bartholdi he built the America's Statue Of Liberty. It was a gift to commemorate 100th Anniversary of the American War Independence in which French partnered with the Americans against the British. Paris is Beautiful and everything is seem High Standard. Paris is known for Haute Couture and Haute Cuisine. And the first Chef that started and the founder of this Haute Cuisine is Marie-Antoine Carême. He is also the first one to introduce white chefs in kitchen and some of his classics recipes are still being use today. I envisioning a Life to work and live in Paris someday. If you want to know more of Paris, you can watch it on Netflix.
